Hamlet

So. On the suggestion that I do more Shakespeare covers, here we are. Heres my Hamlet cover I did on the fly. Fairly straight forward.

Again I'm going for the graphic design look.

Remembering Katie

Heres an illustration I did for a story (that I can't remember the name of so I ironically named it "Remembering Katie". When I figure out its actual name I'll fix the piece and add the authors name)

EDIT: It is "Going Back In" by Andrew McCarthy (thank you Christian Castro)

Its a story about a girl who drowns on her camping trip with her school (where they teach outdoors skills) and a man, who was present at the time, is haunted for the rest of his life. He finally confronts it by returning to the scene of the incident after years of avoiding it.

Adding the text was not one of the requirement for this, I just decided to add it in for myself.

Help Japan

I'm making a series of illustrations in an attempt to cover current events. So many things are happening; great reforms, and terrible tragedies.

In an attempt to spread awareness of how one can help, I made a quick poster to encourage people to, at the very least, donate to the Red Cross in an effort to help Japan recover.

Heres where you can donate:

Romeo & Juliet

Heres a recover I felt like doing in a graphic design way. I'm just running through a few ideas for it. I may post more later. I'm thinking the second one is a little too dark but I'm going to post it anyway.

It's the Strong Man!

I keep thinking that summer is here and it's only March.
All well. A girl can dream, no?

Anyway, heres my piece inspired by Coney Island! I always picture Coney Island as if it were the early 1900's. Part of me wishes it was.
